We go over your boat from end to end to make sure nothing will hold you back on race day or during scrutineering. If you haven’t done a race gear check before, you can read about it here

COMPREHENSIVE COMPOSITE REPAIRS

We can repair any mulitsport kayak that is made of composite materials (Carbon, Kevlar, Fibreglass)

INSURANCE ASSESSMENTS

We provide detailed evaluations of major structural damage on composite kayaks for insurance purposes.

READY-TO-SELL SERVICE

Getting ready to sell or upgrade? We will tidy up your kayak so it’s in great shape for the next paddler and helps you get the best return when it’s time to list it.

INSTALL & REPLACEMENT

  • Hydration System 
  • Replacement of seat, foam pillar
  • New rudder setup or cable replacement

DECK & HULL RESURFACING

Expoxy-based kayaks only, e.g., JKK

POST COAST TO COAST REPAIRS

WHEN

Sunday 15 February, 10am–2pm. 

If you’re unable to attend, we can assess your kayak the week after Coast, though transport may not be guaranteed.

WHERE

HOW IT WORKS?

We will take a look at your kayak and provide a price estimate straight away. If you’re happy to proceed, you can leave the boat with us and we’ll complete the repair as soon as our schedule allows.

We will only contact you if something needs approval and will notify and invoice you when the repair is complete and ready for pickup.

 

NORTH ISLAND TRANSPORT

Our trailer is heading North on 28 February 26, and we can make stops along the way:

  • Blenheim
  • Wellington
  • Palmerston North
  • Taupō
  • Auckland
  • Other – upon request

The transport fee is $175 per boat when the repair work is carried out by Flying Dutchman. If your kayak is being repaired elsewhere and you only need transport space, the fee is $225.
